Hurray! It's Friday!!

 Good afternoon!

Today we talked about the word ADAPTATION!! Our simple definition was...

Adaptations are any behavioral or physical characteristics of an animal

that help it to survive in its environment. These characteristics fall into

three main categories: body parts, body coverings, and behaviors.

Ask me to give you a few examples!

In class we have discussed the snowball effect! If we are distracted or busy socializing with our table partner we get behind in our work. Then when we move onto something new, we're not finished the first activity! UH OH! By the end of the day we have a giant snowball of work to do!

Just a few reminders for next week...

- Please wear shoes that you can get on independently!

- Next week is a full week!

- Dress for the weather!
