We hope everyone had a great long weekend and rested up for the second week of school! 

This morning we worked on the following math problem in the morning...

If you have 2 dice at home we could teach you how to play BLAST OFF!!

We also brainstormed things that good writers do. Here was our list. Good writers...

- Use periods at the end of sentences

- Use capitals at the beginning of sentences

- Use capitals in names and titles

- Leave finger spaces between words

- Print neatly

- Skip lines

- Try your best to sound out tricky words

As the year goes on we will be adding more strategies to this list!

This afternoon we had a virtual assembly! Mr. Murphy, Ms. Koleyak and Mrs. Johnston officially welcomed everyone and read us a Dr. Seuss book!
